Sam’s Club sucks
I am SO glad that Costco came to town. Shopping at Sam’s was giving me a rash. I hate Wal-Mart, Sam’s and anything to do with the owner of both. I hate that they censor their products, but more than that, Costco just rules. It is my understanding that they have a good salad mix, and I know they have good berries. I am not, however, paying $10 for a bag of lemons. Also of interest, they have a good book section and bless their hearts, some of the bestsellers are in English too! Very exciting. Another exciting feature of shopping in warehouse stores in Mexico? They always have booze samples. Viva Mexico!
We had a five minute thunderstorm this morning that cooled everything down for the day. I have to make another journey to Bucerias this morning to meet with a potential client, which means I’ll have to sit in the checkpoint on the way back. Hopefully I can pick up a Tribune to read while in traffic.
Speaking of the Tribune, I cannot BELIEVE how much they charge for advertising. It’s quite insane.
