US Spends $51 million to fly Mexicans home

According to THIS STORY, the US is flying Mexicans home at a cost of $51 million a year. Does anyone else think this is a stupid waste of money? People are starving in America, children are living in rat infested hell holes and get third world disease and parasites, homelessness is increasing since so many people lost their houses this year and THIS is what the government is spending money on. Nice. Go team USA.

Meanwhile, Bordertown was finally released and is in theaters this week so get your ass in a seat at the theater and see it. Why? Because more than 400 women have been kidnapped and murdered in Juarez and no one gives a shit. By no one I mean the governments of either the US or Mexico. Serial killings or illegal organ smuggling? No one knows for sure but the bodies are STILL piling up so go support the movie and maybe you’ll get outraged long enough to put down your margarita (it is 10 in the morning after all), fold up your USA Today mcPaper and write a letter. To the people who are writing in to the Tribune, whining about the nasty smells in your precious Zona Romantica, have you ever been to any other cities in the world? San Francisco smells like a urinal. New York? Portapotty. Even Portland, Oregon smells like urine and garbage downtown. If you think the agua negra is relegated to just your special section of Puerto Vallarta, I’d like to point out that EVERY barrio has bubbling grey water coming up from the streets, water leaks, sewers running directly into the road. We’re in Mexico, people. Suck it up. Write your letters or whatever you feel you need to do but stop acting like it’s the holocaust because your Jimmy Choos get tainted with a little poo water. Wah, wah, the white people are facing health problems because of agua negra…how about starting in the barrios where the poor people are, you know, the ones that CAN’T AFFORD health care, if you care so much? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
